Call for Little Docents—The Little Pinecone Docent Team is Recruiting for Summer Vacation!

Event Introduction: The annual summer recruitment for young docents is about to begin again! Are you all eagerly anticipating it and already itching to get started? Since its launch, our Little Pinecone Volunteer Team has garnered great attention from primary and secondary school students as well as their parents, and has received unanimous praise from all sectors of society. To enrich children’s summer experiences and enable them to step into the memorial hall as young docents, gaining insights into historical knowledge, traditional calligraphy and painting, and proper docent etiquette, we’re specially organizing this selection event.

Meaning of the activity: Through organization Commemoration Museum The “Little Docent” activity allows students to immerse themselves in a hands-on experience. “Little Pinecone” Volunteerism

1. Comply with all rules and regulations for volunteers at the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall.

2. You must arrive at your post ten minutes in advance to ensure punctual start and timely departure.

3. When working, you must provide service to the audience in Mandarin Chinese, using standard language and maintaining a neat appearance and professional demeanor.

4. Volunteer work hours generally amount to at least twice a month, with each session lasting no less than... 2 Hours (or no less than per month) 4 hours).

5. Sign in on the volunteer registration log before starting your shift, and both your arrival and departure must be confirmed by staff from the Exhibition Department of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall.

“Little Pinecone” Privilege

1. After passing the assessment, you have officially joined the “Little Pinecone” volunteer team at the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall and will receive a certificate.

2. Participate in the annual “Little Pinecone” volunteer star-rating program.

3. Priority access to the museum’s exhibitions, lectures, and various public education activities.

4. Outstanding performers may be selected as specially invited "Little Pinecone" docents for the museum's various exhibitions.

5. Provide opportunities and a platform to showcase yourself.

Recruitment Requirements:

1、 Age 6-18 year

2 Elementary and middle school students who are passionate about volunteer guiding and interested in traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting.

3 Possesses strong oral expression and communication skills.

4 Possess a spirit of cooperation and actively cooperate with work arrangements.

Registration method: Recording No more than 5 Send the minute-long video to the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall’s email address. ( bdsrggjy@163.com). The video content should include two parts: recitation and talent performance. We will conduct a preliminary selection based on your video submission. (Attached is the registration form)

After the primary election, we will be at the primary election time. The following week We will notify you by phone of the interview time and location. If you do not pass, you will not be notified separately—please make sure to answer your phone.
