Chemical Break Seem like We will briefly analyze how various renowned artists have both inherited and innovated upon Wu’s painting style through three different approaches. By examining Pan Tianshou’s conscious approach to artistic creation, Qi Baishi’s inexhaustible creativity nurtured by his rich life experiences, and the groundbreaking contributions of master artists such as Li Kuchan and Cui Zifan, we will explore how, under Wu Changshuo’s influence, the freehand style of flower-and-bird painting—characterized by the integration of seal-carving techniques and expressive brushwork—has been reformed and developed, thus giving rise to a new artistic landscape. Finally, Teacher Deng Feng concluded: The tradition of freehand flower-and-bird painting rooted in seal-carving and stone-inscription techniques has a clear origin and an orderly lineage. Its vigorous and robust spirit, which has continuously emerged, evolved, and transformed from within the traditional framework itself, has permeated the entire 20th century.
