Appreciation
As a representative work of the Eight Great Mountain People in their later years, they are skilled in drawing eagles, following the example of the great Ming Dynasty painter Lin Liang. However, in terms of the simplicity of their brushstrokes and the ease of their ink use, they all demonstrate their expertise in surpassing the blue. On the screen, two goshawks look at each other, with withered wood and hard rocks among them. The shape is refined, and the ink is round. In the high and low elevation, the heroic posture is vividly depicted on the paper.
