Peng Youshan Art Museum
The Peng Youshan Art Museum is located in the Qingyunpu Meihu Scenic Area of Nanchang City, on the northeast side of the Bada Shanren Memorial Hall. Funded by the Nanchang Municipal People's Government, it is under the management of the Bada Shanren Memorial Hall and officially opened to the public in 2012. Peng Youshan Art Museum is an earlier public art museum named after an individual in our province. It collects and displays 200 masterpieces of Mr. Peng Youshan donated by Peng Youshan's family for free, as well as calligraphy, painting and sculpture works donated by famous artists at home and abroad. The name of the library was written by Mrs. Xu Beihong's wife, Mr. Liao Jingwen.
The total land area is 3,810 square meters, and the total construction area is 2,559 square meters. It has two floors above ground and one floor underground, with a height of 9.7 meters. The whole building is in the shape of a character, and there are two permanent exhibition halls, where Peng Youshan's traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, calligraphy, porcelain paintings and other works are exhibited in rotation all year round; there is a projection room, where Peng Youshan's documentaries, interviews and other videos are played in a loop.
