Medium and Long Term Development Plan
The Bada Shanren Memorial Hall is located on the bank of Dingshan Bridge on the shore of Qingyunpu Meihu Lake in the southern suburb of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It was established on the original site of Qingyunpu Taoist Temple in October 1959. It is the first memorial hall of ancient painters in my country. In 2010, the Nanchang Municipal People's Government invested a huge amount of money to expand the Bada Shanren Memorial Hall. The original area was increased from 15 acres to 40 acres, and two parts, the authentic museum and the research institute, were added. 1504 pieces (sets), including 36 pieces (sets) of Bada Shanren's authentic works, are now a national second-class museum and a "national key cultural relic protection unit". Affiliated to Nanchang Culture, Radio, Television, Press, Publication and Tourism Bureau, the museum consists of eight departments: Office, Security Section, Research Department, Exhibition Department, Industrial Development Department, Cultural Relics Preservation Department, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department, and Peng Youshan Art Museum Management Department. The main responsibilities of the unit are to be responsible for the safety, preservation, collection, arrangement and restoration of cultural relics in the museum, the collection and research of relevant historical materials and cultural relics, and the development of academic cooperation and exchanges.
