From the cannon fire that shattered the sky during the "September 18 Incident" to the blaze of war ignited by the "July 7 Incident," marking the full-scale outbreak of the War of Resistance— Faced with the ruthless and vicious aggression of Japanese militarism, the Chinese people refused to yield. To Public Institutions at All Levels Nationwide and to All Cadres and Employees: Waste sorting is a “crucial yet seemingly small matter” that General Secretary Xi Jinping has consistently kept close to his heart—and it is also a “major national concern” driving the advancement of social civilization. Properly handling even the smallest waste items is closely linked to our country’s fundamental policy of conserving resources, is vital to the ecological development of our beautiful homeland, and plays a key role in shaping and nurturing positive social norms.
