Under the strong support of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government, as well as the correct leadership of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, everyone in the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall has worked together with one heart and one mind. According to The guiding principle for cultural relics work—“prioritize protection, put rescue first, promote rational utilization, and strengthen management”—centers on prosperity and development. We will actively expand the service functions of cultural venues, continuously enhance the quality of cultural services benefiting the public, proactively organize academic and exchange activities, and strengthen the protection of cultural relics. Security and Guarding Work 。 As To mark the 60th anniversary of our museum’s establishment in 2019, we have specially prepared the following work plan report:
- Major Key Engineering Projects
- Declaration “Internet Plus Chinese Civilization—” Construction Project (Phase II) of the Public Cultural Big Data Service Platform for the Eight Great Mountains People Memorial Hall
In 2017, our institution applied for the “Internet Plus Chinese Civilization—Construction of a Public Cultural Big Data Service Platform for the Eight Great Mountainsmen Memorial Museum (Phase I)” project. Leveraging the “Internet Plus” concept and building a big data platform, we aimed to accelerate the development of the digital memorial museum dedicated to the Eight Great Mountainsmen. Since 2018, this project has been essentially completed, and we have now submitted an application for Phase II construction to address subsequent project needs.
- Complete the intelligent security upgrade and renovation project.
As a nationally designated key cultural relic protection site, Qingyunpu has taken steps to better safeguard national cultural relics and strengthen its security protection system. In accordance with the “Notice from the Nanchang Municipal Finance Bureau on Doing a Good Job…” our museum has: In accordance with the spirit of the “Notice on the Management of Municipal Budget Performance Targets for 2018” (Hong Cai Ban [2017] No. 26), we are actively applying for the intelligent security upgrade and renovation project. This system primarily consists of four subsystems: a digital video surveillance system, an intrusion alarm system, an information release system, and a UPS power supply system. The project is expected to be fully completed within 2019.
- Apply for the Qingyunpu Fire Protection Engineering Project
According to the National Cultural Heritage Administration’s “On Further Optimizing the Review of Cultural Heritage Protection Projects” Notice of Approval》 (Cultural Relics Protection Document [ In accordance with the spirit of Document No. 25 [2016], our museum has actively organized and carried out the application process. We have submitted the “National Key…” Project Proposal for the Protection of Cultural Relics Protection Units (Security, Fire Protection, and Lightning Protection) — Jiangxi Province (Autonomous Region, Municipality) The “2019 Annual Plan for National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units” has been submitted to the Bureau’s Cultural Relics Division for approval.
- Addressing issues related to the renovation of the Peng Youshan Art Museum and other related matters.
Peng Youshan Art Museum at Construction began in 2011 and was completed in 2012. The project was undertaken by Nanchang Municipal Engineering Development Group Co., Ltd. As of now, the Peng Youshan Art Museum remains in an unaccepted and untransferred state. Starting in 2017, a series of serious issues began to emerge, including malfunctions of the constant-temperature and constant-humidity equipment, basement water leaks, leakage from high-voltage electrical systems, and flaking of roof and wall surfaces. Consequently, our museum was forced to close temporarily. In 2017, we reported the relevant situation to our superior authorities. Currently, we are stepping up efforts to coordinate with Nanchang Municipal Engineering Development Group Co., Ltd. to resolve these issues, all in preparation for the upcoming 60th anniversary of the museum’s founding. Make every effort to fully reopen the museum.
II. Talent Recruitment Program
1. Actively prepare for the work of establishing Jiangxi Province’s research and study practice education base for primary and secondary schools.
Our museum at In March 2018, in accordance with the spirit of the document “Letter Regarding Requesting Recommendations for Provincial Research and Study Practice Education Bases for Primary and Secondary School Students” (Gan Jiao Han [2018] No. 6), we actively submitted our application. Currently, we lack interpreters and relevant training personnel, and therefore need to hire five externally contracted interpreters. The specific recruitment plan is currently being prepared.

Our museum’s security and safeguarding work is a long-term, arduous, and complex systematic undertaking. Under the concerted efforts of the museum’s leadership and with the active cooperation and joint responsibility of all staff members, everyone throughout the museum diligently performs their duties in security and safeguarding shifts. Currently, the Security Department has only one mid-level leader, and it is specially required to appoint one regular staff member who is also a member of the Communist Party of China.
III. Bring in, Go out, External Exchange and Exhibition Program

This year In July, led by Director Zhou Xiaojian, a team of five key personnel traveled to the Suzhou Museum, the Shanghai Museum, and the Palace Museum in Beijing for an exploratory visit. Drawing on the cultural elements of Bada Shanren himself, they developed culturally creative products that are both practical, artistic, and engaging. Additionally, the museum has partnered with Jiangxi Rongde Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Nanchang Banknote Printing Factory, to launch a special collection titled "The Ten Great Cultural Figures of Ancient China—Bada Shanren." At the same time, the museum is further enriching its library collection by acquiring books of scholarly value and high collectible worth.

Establish cooperative partnerships with news media and travel agencies to share resources, actively promote the figure of Bada Shanren, and promote the Bada Shanren Memorial Hall as a signature attraction of Nanchang.
