Appreciation
The small statues of the Eight Great Mountains have both form and spirit, reflecting the high level of Chinese line drawing portrait painting, and providing an intuitive basis for future generations to understand the physical appearance of the Eight Great Mountains people. There are nine inscriptions and postscripts in the painting, which narrate the background and beliefs of the Eight Great Mountains people and have high academic research value. Particularly precious is that six of them are self written by the Eight Great Mountains people, each written in four characters: Zhen, Cao, Li, and Zhuan. It truly and comprehensively reflects the artistic achievements of the middle-aged people of Badashan.
