We believe many of you have had multiple, multifaceted experiences with the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum. II. Submission Period

Valid for an indefinite period from the date of release.

 

3. Submission Format

1. Text-based: Genre is unrestricted; text serves as the primary form of expression, with a minimum length of... 500 character , With WORD Submit in document format.

2. Painting categories: Includes comics, illustrations, posters, and more—no smaller than... 2M , format is JPG PNG A written explanation must be included and submitted in electronic format to the submission email address.

3. All submitted works must be submitted as electronic files. The required image format is: JPG PNG Format: Each sheet no less than 1MB Please provide captions for the photos. The captions should be placed in a separate document, and the caption titles must match the titles of the corresponding artworks.

 

IV. Submission Process

3. Review Cycle: The review period is one month, starting from the date of submission. If you do not receive a notification of acceptance within one month, you may handle your manuscript as you see fit. All submitted manuscripts must be original and must strictly adhere to academic standards. , No plagiarism or academic misconduct. There are no restrictions on genre—please do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously. [Once a submission is accepted, the author will receive a commemorative gift from the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall. In addition, the Hall will also select and recognize outstanding works on an annual basis.] Annual Best Contributor and award honorary prizes and corresponding material rewards.

 

V. Call for Statements

1. Submitted works must be original and free of any copyright disputes; they must not involve plagiarism or infringement upon the copyrights of others. The author shall be solely responsible for any copyright issues, defamation, or claims regarding portrait rights that may arise from the content of the work.

2. Submitted works must be positive and uplifting, and must not contain any inappropriate content such as pornography or violence. They must also not include any material involving religious issues, racial discrimination, or regional bias.

3. Submitted works must not contain any of the following: content that opposes the fundamental principles established by the Constitution; content that endangers national unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; content that jeopardizes national security, honor, and interests; content that incites ethnic division, violates the customs and practices of ethnic minorities, or undermines ethnic solidarity; content that discloses state secrets; content that harms social morality and the fine cultural traditions of the nation; content that insults or defames others; or any other content prohibited by laws and regulations.

4. The text, language, background, and other elements featured in submitted works must not conflict with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.

The Eight Great Galleries on the Move | “Cultivating Beauty, Inheriting Classics—The Ba Da Shan Ren Aesthetic Education Program Comes to Hongyan School in Nanchang County”

To promote China’s outstanding traditional culture, actively advance aesthetic education in museums, and cultivate in young people noble virtues of love for their country and hometown, enabling students to acquire knowledge and closely appreciate the beauty of Chinese painting art, on the morning of November 14, 2023, the Ba Da Shan Ren Aesthetic Education Program made its way into Hongyan School in Nanchang County. This session introduced students to traditional Chinese art and local culture through an exhibition, a lecture, and a brush-and-ink workshop. By combining theoretical learning with hands-on practice, it aimed to enhance cultural confidence, improve students’ aesthetic and humanistic literacy, and foster their abilities in aesthetic appreciation, expression, and creation.
