  Let me tell you about a brand-new way to have fun! Why not become a little pinecone docent at the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall? It’s a fantastic way to learn while having fun, hone your skills, and develop an interest in China’s outstanding traditional culture—all at the same time. It’s simply super trendy!
  What is a small pine cone?
  The Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall is home to a 500-year-old Arhat pine tree—whose name was inspired by its tiny pine cones. Like those little pine cones, the children bask in the warm sunshine of the Eight Great Mountains’ culture, spreading warmth and hope with their loving hearts.

  While giving a thumbs-up to the young male and female docents’ hard work, aren’t you curious about how these little docents are trained? Don’t you also wish you could share your voice with everyone just like they do? Here’s your chance... The recruitment for little docents at the Eight Great Masters Memorial Hall has officially begun for the summer period!
  Job Description: Provide guided tours, consultations, and directional assistance to visitors. Annual service hours shall be no fewer than 50 hours.
  Target applicants: Individuals who are passionate about traditional Chinese culture. Applicants should be between 8 and 15 years old, with no gender restrictions. They must have standard Mandarin Chinese proficiency and demonstrate a certain degree of adaptability. We will select the top 20 candidates.

The Eight Great Galleries on the Move | “Cultivating Beauty, Inheriting Classics—The Ba Da Shan Ren Aesthetic Education Program Comes to Hongyan School in Nanchang County”

To promote China’s outstanding traditional culture, actively advance aesthetic education in museums, and cultivate in young people noble virtues of love for their country and hometown, enabling students to acquire knowledge and closely appreciate the beauty of Chinese painting art, on the morning of November 14, 2023, the Ba Da Shan Ren Aesthetic Education Program made its way into Hongyan School in Nanchang County. This session introduced students to traditional Chinese art and local culture through an exhibition, a lecture, and a brush-and-ink workshop. By combining theoretical learning with hands-on practice, it aimed to enhance cultural confidence, improve students’ aesthetic and humanistic literacy, and foster their abilities in aesthetic appreciation, expression, and creation.
