Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1: The name of this organization is “Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum.”
Article 2: The Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum is a non-profit organization voluntarily formed by individuals and institutions from society who are scholars of calligraphy and painting, enthusiastic about public welfare, passionate about history and culture, willing to exercise their membership rights in a lawful manner, and committed to fulfilling their membership obligations.
Article 3: The purpose of the Friends of the Bada Shanren Memorial Museum is to strengthen communication and interaction between the Bada Shanren Memorial Museum and the public, further enhance the museum’s role in serving public education, boost the cohesion and influence of regional cultural development, and promote the advancement of public-benefit cultural endeavors in Nanchang.
Article 4: The Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum Organization shall be subject to business guidance and supervisory management by the Board of Directors of the Eight Great Mountains Man and the registration authority for social organizations.
Chapter 2: Scope of Business
Article 5: The scope of business of this organization is:
(1) Organize visits to the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall for members of the public and various groups.
(2) Promote popular education and cultural dissemination at the Eight Great Mountains Memorial Hall.
(3) Organize specialized knowledge lectures delivered by research experts from the Eight Great Mountains People Memorial Hall.
(4) Organize scholars and members to conduct cultural research and exchanges.
(5) Strengthen the connection between the public and the Eight Great Mountains Memorial Hall.
(6) Enhance and improve the service functions of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall, and promote the overall service level of the museum.
(7) Actively promote the Eight Great Mountainsmen Memorial Hall and expand its social and cultural influence.
Chapter 3: Membership Classification
Article 6: The members of this library are divided into two types:
(1) Regular Member
Any member of the public or any organization that cares about museums, loves museums, and is committed to advancing the development of the museum sector may apply to become a regular member of the Friends of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Museum.
(2) VIP Membership
Members of the public who meet any one of the following conditions may apply to become VIP members of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Museum’s Friends of the Museum:
1. Individuals who have made positive contributions to local economic development and the advancement of social and cultural undertakings, and who are enthusiastic about charitable and public welfare causes;
2. Individuals from the community who are enthusiastic about supporting the development of cultural undertakings and willingly make various donations to our museum;
3. Actively promote cultural dissemination by leveraging various media to publicize museums and their culture to members of society.
4. Outstanding volunteers who provide free services to visitors at this museum on a year-round basis;
5. Scholars and experts in fields such as history, art studies, and cultural heritage preservation.
Chapter 4: Rights and Obligations of Members
Article 7: Member Benefits
(1) Invited to participate in the series of events organized by the Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum;
(2) You can learn in advance about the latest temporary exhibitions at the Eight Great Mountainsmen Memorial Hall and enjoy reserved guided tours.
(3) Propose ideas and reform plans for the development of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall’s undertakings;
(4) Received the academic exchange journal and compilation of academic materials from the Eight Great Mountainsman Memorial Hall.
(5) Books, posters, and souvenirs received as gifts for the temporary exhibition;
(6) Invited to participate in major events held at the Eight Great Masters of the Ming Dynasty Memorial Hall, including the opening and closing ceremonies of these events;
(7) Being invited to attend lectures by celebrities and scholars or various academic seminars;
Article 8: Members shall fulfill the following obligations:
(1) In accordance with all resolutions of the “Friends of the Museum,” diligently carry out the tasks assigned by the “Friends of the Museum” and actively safeguard the various rights and interests of this group.
(2) Actively participate in and support all activities organized by this association.
(3) Actively introduce or organize visits to this museum for audiences.
(4) Actively promote our library.
(5) Supervise the activities of the Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum and all visitor services provided by the museum, and offer constructive feedback.
Chapter 5: Member Management
Article 9: Membership Application Procedure
(1) Members of the Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum must register using their real names. After thoroughly understanding and agreeing to the “Rights and Obligations of Members of the Friends of the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum,” please submit the membership application form to our museum, presenting a valid identification document such as your ID card.
(2) The application form must be obtained from the Visitor Service Center at the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall.
(3) After completing the application form, it must be submitted to the office of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall.
(4) Membership cards issued by the museum, along with information on related membership benefits and obligations, the rules and regulations of the “Friends of the Museum” organization, and details on the schedule of activities.
Chapter Six: Organizational Structure
Article 10: The highest authority of this organization is the Congress of Members of “Friends of the Museum.” The powers and responsibilities of the Congress of Members are:
(1) Formulating and amending the articles of association;
(2) Electing and removing directors;
(3) Deciding on termination matters.
Article 11: The Board of Directors is the executive body of the Members’ Congress. The powers and responsibilities of the Board of Directors are:
(1) Implement the resolutions of the Members’ Congress;
(2) Electing and removing the Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons, and Secretary-General;
(3) Decide on the admission or expulsion of members;
(4) Decide to establish an administrative office;
(5) Develop internal management systems;
(6) Decide on other major matters;
Article 12: The Chairperson of this organization shall exercise the following powers:
(1) Convene and preside over the Members’ Congress;
(2) To examine the implementation of resolutions adopted by the Members’ Congress;
(3) Sign important documents on behalf of this organization.
Article 13: The Secretary-General of this organization shall exercise the following powers:
(1) Oversee the daily operations of the executive office and organize the implementation of the annual work plan.
(2) Coordinate the work of various branches, representative offices, and entities.
Chapter 7: Procedures for Amending the Articles of Association
Article 14: Any amendments to the articles of association of this organization must be approved by a vote at the General Assembly of all members.
Article 15: The amended articles of association of this organization shall become effective within 15 days after being adopted by the Members’ Congress, subject to review and approval by the competent supervisory authority and subsequent ratification by the registration and administration authority for social organizations.
Chapter 8: Termination Procedures and Handling of Property After Termination
Article 16: If this organization completes its objectives, voluntarily dissolves, or needs to be deregistered due to reasons such as division or merger, the competent business authority shall submit a motion for termination to the Board of Directors. Such motion shall be approved by a vote of the Members’ General Assembly and then submitted to the competent business authority for review and approval.
Article 17: This organization shall be terminated upon completion of the deregistration procedures with the registration and administration authority for social organizations. After termination, any remaining assets shall, under the supervision of the competent supervisory authority and the registration and administration authority for social organizations, be used in accordance with relevant national regulations to support activities that are consistent with the organization’s purposes.
Chapter IX Supplementary Provisions
Article 18: This charter shall take effect from the date of its promulgation.
Article 19: The right to interpret these articles of association rests with the Friends of the Bada Shanren Memorial Museum.
