As an integral part of the nation’s cultural soft power, museums and their exhibitions play a crucial role as both content providers and emotional bridges in cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries. The collaborative partnership between the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Museum and the Cross-border Education Center of Nanchang University will help strengthen our external publicity efforts and facilitate the exchange and mutual learning among diverse civilizations worldwide. By using traditional art as a medium to tell China’s stories to the world, we can not only break down barriers of geography, culture, and language but also, through soft-power communication, build stronger emotional connections with overseas audiences. In the process of building a community with a shared future for mankind, this collaboration will serve as an excellent bridge.”

It is designed to fully develop distinctive cultural brands and ensure that the charm of Ganjiang’s rich cultural heritage and Poyang’s unique allure shines brightly in the new era. She emphasized that the establishment of the base carries three major significances: First, it adheres to “one central theme”—the research base is grounded in the study of China’s outstanding traditional culture and takes cultural dissemination as its main thread. Second, it enhances “two key hallmarks”—by closely focusing on the goals of practice-based education and collaborative research, it organizes diverse study-and-research activities. Third, it explores “three pathways”—persisting in cultivating people through culture, keeping pace with the times, and promoting the distinctive features of China’s excellent culture, thus striving to write a new chapter of prosperity and development for Gan-Poyang culture.
