In recent years, the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall has thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and striven to creatively transform and innovatively develop our fine traditional culture, bringing cultural relics to life. Come to life. By showcasing exhibitions, we can tell compelling stories about Chinese culture. Meet the cultural needs of audiences at all levels, Our museum consistently focuses on in-depth research into the art of Bada Shanren, guided by academic exchange, and continuously presents high-quality exhibitions that are both scholarly and accessible to the general public, earning frequent recognition from the National Cultural Heritage Administration. 100 recommended projects themed “Promoting Traditional Culture and Cultivating Socialist Core Values,” as well as major awards such as the Top Ten Outstanding Exhibitions and Displays Recommended by Museums Across the Province.
In 2023, we organized a total of 21 exhibitions. In particular, in collaboration with the National Art Museum of China, we co-hosted three major exhibitions. These three large-scale exhibitions not only helped establish our museum’s distinctive “Eight Great Mountain People Dialogue” series as a premium exhibition brand but also actively responded to and earnestly implemented Xi Jinping’s reply to the veteran experts and artists at the National Art Museum of China. The instructions call for making concerted efforts to achieve high-quality collection, high-level utilization, and premium-quality services, and to strive to build a first-class museum with distinctive features.

Through public education activities, we will inherit and promote China’s outstanding traditional culture. 。 To better serve the general public and effectively integrate culture and education, our museum regularly hosts a variety of distinctive mass cultural activities. We fully leverage our role as an educational base for patriotism, study tours, care for the next generation, and training of Young Pioneers docents. Adopting a blended online-and-offline approach, we focus particularly on: Projects such as “Aesthetic Education Courses in Schools” and the “Little Pinecone Docents” initiative leverage the museum’s role as a “second classroom” for educational purposes. Our museum will continue to plan and carry out a series of thematic and distinctive educational activities—centered around our various exhibitions, and aligned with major national holidays and commemorative days—open to the entire community. We will also keep enhancing our established educational brands, including the “Eight Great Masters Aesthetic Education Program,” “Celebrating Festivals at the Eight Great Masters Museum,” “The Walking Eight Great Masters Museum—High-Fidelity Exhibition of Masterpieces by the Eight Great Masters,” and the “Little Pinecone” volunteer service group.

By developing cultural and creative products, we showcase the charm of traditional culture. We remain committed to... Guided by the business philosophy of “Bringing Museum Culture Home,” our newly developed 440 cultural and creative products have won widespread recognition and affection from the public. This year, we achieved impressive results—earning a silver award and a bronze award—in the inaugural Jiangxi Handcrafted Gifts Exhibition Week series event titled “Wuhua Tianbao·Ganpo Youli.” In particular, the cultural and creative mooncakes jointly launched by our museum and Qiaojiashan during the Mid-Autumn Festival went viral after being featured in a live broadcast by Xinhua News Agency’s overseas edition, once again highlighting the global influence of Bada Shanren.

By enhancing and optimizing the service spaces, we aim to boost visitor satisfaction. In the second half of the year, we will carry out a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the museum’s functional service areas, giving these spaces a cleaner and more vibrant visual appeal. This will provide visitors with an immersive cultural experience that seamlessly integrates art exhibitions, dining, and relaxation—a place where they can fully engage with culture. These efforts will further elevate the quality of public services within the museum and promote the efficient integration of culture and tourism.

Today, the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall has become an important cultural hub and a popular check-in spot for conducting academic research, fostering cultural exchanges, serving the public, and preserving and promoting outstanding traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy art. In the future, our museum will continue to pursue steady progress while embracing innovation, thereby contributing to the flourishing of culture at both the provincial and municipal levels.
