1、 The Nature of Volunteer Work at the Badashan Memorial Hall
Volunteers are obligated to work at the Badashan Memorial Hall to serve the audience of the Badashan Memorial Hall. The identity of volunteers at the Badashan Memorial Hall is determined by the Badashan Memorial Hall.
2、 The scope of work for volunteers at the Badashan Memorial Hall
Provide various guidance and consultation services to the audience of the Badashan Memorial Hall to help them understand various exhibits; Assist in various activities carried out by the Badashan Memorial Hall.
1. Volunteer Work Rules
Love the museum industry and fulfill our commitment to volunteer service.
Volunteers should arrive at their posts ten minutes in advance to ensure timely start and departure.
The volunteer explanation card is only for personal use and cannot be lent or altered. During volunteer work at the Badashan Memorial Hall, one must wear an explanation card.
Volunteers must use Mandarin to serve the audience during their work, with standardized language and neat appearance. Enthusiastic and generous towards the audience, serious and responsible towards work, and always answering questions.
The volunteer's explanation content must be based on the training materials provided by the Badashan Memorial Hall, and inaccurate or inappropriate content should not be added arbitrarily.
Volunteers should demonstrate civilized and polite demeanor, speak appropriately, and serve with a smile in their work.
Obey the assigned positions and tasks, and complete them on time and in quantity. If there are special circumstances, they can be submitted to the Exhibition Department of the Badashan Memorial Hall.
If the personal performance does not match the volunteer status and damages the image of the library, the library will dismiss the employee; Outstanding performance will be recognized at the end of the year.
2. Work registration and attendance
The working hours of volunteers are determined through consultation between the volunteers themselves or their guardians and the exhibition and display department of the Badashan Memorial Hall. Generally, there should be no less than two times a month, with each time no less than 2 hours (or no less than 4 hours per month).
Before starting work, volunteers should sign in on the volunteer registration book, and both on and off duty should be confirmed by the staff of the Exhibition Department of the Badashan Memorial Hall, as a basis for future work measurement.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
Volunteers who are unable to arrive at the agreed time for service should take leave in advance and try to make up for the corresponding service time. Those who took leave due to illness or other reasons in the same year shall present relevant certificates and submit them to the Exhibition and Exhibition Department of the Badashan Memorial Hall for review. The unfinished workload of that year may no longer be supplemented.
Except for service work, visiting, attending lectures, exchanging learning, participating in training, and holding meetings at the Badashan Memorial Hall are not counted as workload statistics.
Comply with all disciplines and regulations related to the opening up of the Badashan Memorial Hall.
3、 Volunteer work evaluation
The volunteer evaluation of the Badashan Memorial Hall aims to ensure service quality and maintain a good image of the group, with openness and impartiality as the criteria, and annual workload as the main basis. It is conducted once a year. Those who pass the annual assessment and are willing to continue volunteering will automatically renew their status for one year.
Evaluation team: composed of staff from the exhibition and exhibition department of the Badashan Memorial Hall.
Evaluation basis: Based on daily work performance throughout the year. This includes attendance records for volunteer training, registration forms for voluntary explanations, volunteer audience evaluation forms, and leave requests.
◆ Evaluation Procedure: Based on daily work performance, evaluate and determine the list of volunteers who will continue to serve at the Badashan Memorial Hall. The workload of the current year must be at least 12 times or 48 hours. If there are special circumstances, the evaluation group will discuss and evaluate them.
Evaluation results: Based on the list of volunteers who will continue to serve at the Badashan Memorial Hall after the evaluation, determine the personnel arrangement of the work group for the second year. Report to all volunteers the problems encountered during the evaluation and the requirements for improvement work.
◆ Commendation of outstanding volunteers: After the annual assessment, the list of outstanding exemplary individual and advanced groups will be announced, and appropriate rewards will be given.
4、 Volunteer rights
◆ Receive a free gift of the journal 'Research on the Eight Great Mountain People'.
Volunteers who have served for more than 60 hours in the same year can receive cultural and creative products and related books from the Badashan Memorial Hall.
Volunteers who have volunteered for more than three years at the Badashan Memorial Hall and have made outstanding contributions can be awarded the title of "Honorary Librarian of the Badashan Memorial Hall"
Priority participation or a certain degree of preferential treatment will be given to lectures and other activities organized by our library.
