◆ Volunteers should arrive at their posts ten minutes early to ensure they start on time and leave on schedule.
◆ The volunteer guide certificate is valid only for the holder’s personal use and may not be lent to others or altered in any way. During volunteer service at the Eight Great Masters of the Ming Dynasty Memorial Hall, you must wear your guide certificate at all times.
◆ Volunteers must provide service to visitors in Mandarin, using standard language and maintaining a neat appearance. They should be warm and welcoming toward visitors, take their work seriously and responsibly, and ensure that every question is answered thoroughly.

◆ Volunteers should demonstrate a civilized and polite demeanor at work, using appropriate language and offering service with a smile.
◆ Obey the assigned post and tasks, and complete them on time and in the required quantity. In case of special circumstances, you may submit a request to the Exhibition and Display Department of the Eight Great Mountains People Memorial Hall.
◆ If an individual’s performance is inconsistent with their volunteer status and harms the image of this institution, the institution will terminate their volunteer status. Outstanding performers will be recognized at year-end.
2. Work Registration and Attendance
◆ The working hours for volunteers shall be determined through consultation between the volunteer themselves or their guardian and the Exhibition and Display Department of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall. Generally, volunteers are expected to work at least twice a month, with each session lasting at least 2 hours (or at least 4 hours per month).
◆ Volunteers must sign in on the volunteer registration logbook before starting their shift. Staff from the Exhibition Department of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall must confirm both their arrival and departure times, serving as a basis for evaluating their performance in the future.
◆ Volunteers who are unable to report for duty at the agreed-upon time must request leave in advance and, if possible, make up for the missed service hours. For those who take leave during the year due to illness or other reasons, they must present relevant supporting documentation, which will be reviewed by the Exhibition and Display Department of the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall. In such cases, the volunteer will not be required to make up for the work hours not completed during that year.
◆ Except for service-related tasks, visits to the Eight Great Masters Memorial Hall, attending lectures, engaging in exchanges and learning, participating in training sessions, and holding meetings are not counted as part of workload.
◆Comply with all rules and regulations governing the opening to the public at the Eight Great Mountains Memorial Hall.
III. Volunteer Performance Evaluation
The volunteer assessment for the Eight Great Mountains Man Memorial Hall is conducted annually, guided by the principles of openness and fairness, with the aim of ensuring service quality and maintaining the group’s positive image. The assessment is primarily based on annual work volume. Volunteers who pass the assessment each year and express their willingness to continue volunteering will have their status automatically renewed for another year.
◆Evaluation Panel: The evaluation panel is composed of staff from the Exhibition and Display Department of the Eight Great Mountainsman Memorial Hall.
◆ Assessment Criteria: The assessment will be based on the volunteer’s actual performance throughout the year. This includes: attendance records for volunteer training, registration forms for voluntary explanations, volunteer audience evaluation forms, and leave requests.
◆Evaluation Procedure: Scores will be assigned based on daily work performance to determine the list of volunteers who will continue serving at the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall. Specifically, each volunteer must have completed at least 12 work sessions or accumulated at least 48 hours of service during the current year. In cases of special circumstances, the evaluation panel will discuss and make a determination after deliberation.
◆Evaluation Results: Based on the list of volunteers selected for continued service at the Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall following the evaluation, we will determine the personnel arrangement for the working group in the second year. We will also report to all volunteers on the issues identified during the evaluation and the requirements for improvement.
◆ Recognition of Outstanding Volunteers: After the annual performance evaluation is completed, the list of outstanding individuals and advanced teams will be announced and appropriately rewarded.
