Recently, we received wonderful news: the “All Mountains Resonate—A Dialogue Between Bada Shanren and the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics” special exhibition, organized by the Bada Shanren Memorial Museum and the Yangzhou Museum, co-organized by the Wuxi Museum, and guided by the Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, has stood out from 29 exhibition projects recommended by the cultural, radio, television, and tourism bureaus of various prefecture-level cities to be named one of the Top Ten Outstanding Exhibition Projects for Museums in the province (for the 2023–2024 period)! This marks the third time our museum has been recognized as a Top Ten Outstanding Exhibition Project in the province—following our previous successes with “No Traces of Chiseling—A Dialogue with Qi Baishi: An Exhibition of Works from the Beijing Painting Academy Collection” (2020) and “Peng Youshan and His Era: A Research Exhibition Commemorating the 110th Anniversary of Peng Youshan’s Birth” (2021–2022).

An Initiative for Civilized Tomb-Sweeping during the Qingming Festival The Qingming Festival is a traditional holiday dedicated to expressing grief, commemorating our ancestors, and honoring heroic martyrs. To carry forward traditional virtues, promote positive social customs, foster a new ethos of civility, and create a safe, civilized, and harmonious environment for tomb-sweeping activities in Nanchang, all civil servants—especially Party members and cadres—in government agencies across the city should take the lead in practicing civilized tomb-sweeping. They should fully demonstrate their exemplary and guiding role. Therefore, we hereby issue the following initiative:

To deeply study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and to earnestly carry out the guiding principles of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 15th Provincial Party Committee and the Eighth Plenary Session of the 12th Municipal Party Committee, further boosting the city’s collective spirit of “confidence, determination, and unity,” and forging a powerful synergy for vigorous advancement, the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee has selected 25 exemplary individuals from among the five categories of “Pioneering Role Models of Ganpo in the New Era” for 2024—namely, “Dedicated and Capable Cadres,” “Outstanding Experts in Party Affairs,” “Communist Party Branch Secretaries Devoted to the People,” “Good Party Members Close to the Masses,” and “Outstanding Role Models with Remarkable Contributions”—and will launch extensive publicity efforts throughout the city.
